Running the Rome Marathon makes you feel like an emperor? This year we'll be providing you with an even more impressive start: Legionaries and Praetorians, with incredibly well-refined costumes, will be standing there to wish you good luck. And at the finish line they will be welcoming you like heroes, after your 26.2 miles. The initiative is in cooperation with the Gruppo Storico Romano, the city's official association for Ancient Rome Historical Reenactment.
