We have invited 15 art students to take part in a design competition for the Rome Marathon 2013 participant medal. Sketches have been evaluated by the coordinators of the initiative, and the best three are going to be turned into 3D models by their authors. In September, finally, a panel of judges (presided by Master Alfiero Nena, who has styled the last 15 Rome Marathon medals) will select the winning entry – that will be the Rome Marathon medal.
An exhibition of all sketches will take place this week in Rome, while the winner of the contest will be announced mid-September.
At the Rome Marathon Expo (March 14-16, 2013) runners and visitors will have a chance to see all works and take part in interactive art sessions.
